Jon Kim Collection is the partnership of Helen Kim (of J.W.Currrens) and Jon Rutgerson (of Sovereign Manufacturing, Inc.).

Helen is a designer of international acclaim, Jon is a manufacturing jeweler and product development expert in both U.S. and World markets.

Between us we represent over 57 years of experience in the fine jewelry industry.

Both independently and as a team we have produced jewelry for many of the more notable names in the jewelry

and fashion businesses as well as legendary auction houses. We manufacture exclusively in the United States,

Diamonds Setting for the Discriminating

There has always been a separation in the diamond market between Round and Fancy stones, both in price-per-carat, quality and consistency in production settings.

Consequently Fancy stones have usually been used as focal stones for individual pieces in custom designed settings.
Unfortunately many Fancy stones suffer optically due to the cutting process, which results in windows,
bow-ties and other optical deformities that limit the available brightness of even high quality stones.

Conversely Round stones have optimized cutting procedures which allow the stones to display the highest brilliance

obtainable in these diamonds that are cherished as symbols of endurance and longevity.

By using our PATENTED setting technique you can now use the more easily sourced Round stones to create
 Fancy settings and allow for a simpler and more repeatable production process.

Using our PATENTED technique you can save up to 65% of the total carat weight for
a comparably sized Fancy stone, and up to 85% of the price per carat.

Since Round stones offer the highest brilliance of any cut, these stones combined with our PATENTED technique
assures that your products will outshine any comparable pear or marquise shape currently available. We've recently added three new shapes to 

our original duo, and now offer trillion, quasar and heart shapes in three sizes.  They add a fresh new look to the original

marquis and pearshape, which were  the focus of our original designs. 

We're able to offer you 7 sizes in pear and marquise shaped settings in addition to the new shapes mentioned above,

thus freeing up the design process and providing both of us with infinite creative possibilities and multiple price points.

We're vertically integrated and manufacture our product in a facility owned by US, assuring the control required to produce either a

 high-end one of a kind or a short run production item(s).  We only use ideal cut, calibrated diamonds from Belgium, thus assuring consistent weights.

 We use the best tools and equipment available, ensuring a flawless finish and the highest quality possible.
